Christoph Engel Formally Inaugurated as a Member of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences

Following his appointment in June 2019, Christoph Engel has now been formally inaugurated as a member of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences. The aim of the Academy is to promote the study and the progress of the social sciences, in the interest of offering the Church the elements which it can use in the development of its social doctrine, and to reflect on the application of that doctrine in contemporary society.
