Shambhavi Priyam has successfully defended her dissertation
Shambhavi Priyam joined the MPI for Research on Collective Goods in late 2017 as a PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Matthias Sutter and Prof. Axel Ockenfels. Before coming to the MPI, she was educated at St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai and at Science Po in Paris. During her PhD-studies, she worked on projects on the formation of economic preferences in young children (in a large-scale lab-in-the-field experiment in Bangladesh) and on how to reduce arsenic poisoning of drinking water in a randomized controlled trial in Bihar, India. She received her PhD degree in September 2021 and is continuing her scientific career as a postdoc at our institute.
